Jeep Cherokee - better for less!
In short, the Jeep Cherokee XJ is by far one of the largest Jeep Wrangler and CJ never no-no ... for many reasons.
Over the past 3 years, I studied almost every Jeep product, and I noticed that among all models is designed and built, the Cherokee is a "dream" in others.
The Cherokee XJ has been built from American Motors Corporation (AMC) in 1984 and 1987 belonged to Chrysler LLC. The last Cherokee held in 2001 and was replaced by the new Jeep Liberty KJ 2002.
Thus, for 17 age square of the building I was back pounding the pavement and the road that the family SUV, the work and the suburban school, weekend adventure and even beyond basic SUV. It was available as a door or a model 2-4 door hatchback with a complete lifting.
The Cherokee XJ is also available in two-wheel or four wheel drive. The engines used are the 2.5L 4-cylinder GM 2.8L V6 (1984-1986), optional 126 cubic inch 4-cylinder turbo diesel (1985 to 1987) and the legendary straight six-cylinder 4.0l (1987-2001).
2-door model most often been a basic model in general with the option two-wheel drive, smaller engine and five-speed manual transmission. The four-door Cherokee is usually in the 2 and 4 wheel drive, but with the transmission automatic and the largest engine 4.0L.
So what makes the XJ Cherokee so special?
The answers are simple. XJ Jeep Cherokee is the following:
- relatively large
- Multi-use,
- comfortable
- available in two wheel or four-wheel drive
- found with 2-door or 4 doors
- a comfortable ride with a strong engine and very functional package with four wheels, two-speed transfer case and air conditioning to boot.
And it is not even the best part! XJ Cherokee is the best buy, the best of your investment and the best value in the used Jeep market. for between $ 3,000 and U.S. $ 4,000 you can find a good Cherokee responsible for all options, 2x4 or 4x4, in good condition ... and get this ... a well that provides care 4.0L engine is usually good for 300,000 miles.
As the title indicates: "The best for less!"

What the difference between overland and normal jeep cherokee?
Is it worth paying extra money for overland jeep cherokee, what's the specs? Will it be a better feature when I sell the car in years to come?
You would need to compare all the statistics in the brochures to find out for sure, but I would go for the overland version as it will hold its value better, and preform better when off roading.
Also the new freelander is fantastic...
