2008 Toyota Sequoia Review - a Review of the 2008 Toyota Sequoia Suv
The 2008 Toyota Sequoia is innovative and changed from last year, with a new body style that increases focus on efficiency, performance, and driver/passenger comfort. Impressive new features include the Sequoia’s available Intuitive Parking assist, which alerts the driver of nearby objects and their distance from the vehicle.
The 2008 Sequoia offers several standard safety features, including front and side curtain airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Its convenient Dynamic Laser Cruise control senses nearby traffic and adjusts the car’s speed accordingly. The Sequoia is a very safe ride as it also includes Vehicle Stability Control, Brake Assist and traction control availability. It keeps the family in mind as it comes standard with child seat restraints in the second row.
A chrome grill surround and rear spoiler add to the striking appearance of the Sequoia, while fog lamps and mud guards add to safety and convenience.
Interior comfort is provided by the Sequoia’s climate control and heated or air conditioned driver and front passenger seats, and a moonroof containing noise-reduction technology. The Sequoia also comes standard with an AM/FM CD system with WMA/MP3 playback capability. Bluetooth capability, a JBL Synthesis audio system and Dvd Navigation also are available.
Toyota includes a multi-information display with Optitron gauges in each Sequoia. This Toyota has towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, and choices between 4.7-liter or 5.7 liter, V8 engines. For added convenience, the 2008 Sequoia’s towing hitch is integrated into the frame as a single unit.

Toyota Prius Review - the Pros and Cons
Everyone has seen the futuristic Toyota Prius as they have navigated the highways. It arrived on the scene in 2004 and was quick to gain supporters. Its popularity soared in Hollywood among those whose “green” lifestyle needed a matching car. Other California drivers grew interested when the state of California issued HOV passes for those driving the Toyota Prius.
The design hasn’t changed much in 2008, but it remains a hot seller. The Manufacturers Retail price for a 2008 Toyota Prius starts at 22,000. With climbing gas prices they are hard to find. The Prius is powered by a battery powered electric motor and a gasoline engine. They can either work together or by themselves. This combination gets the driver the best fuel economy.
