Software Support

An implementation Reference MPEG-4 ALS encoder and decoder are available on the homepage of the MPEG-4 ALS and was also published as ISO / IEC 14496-5:2001 / Amd 10:2007 / Cor 3:2009.
A system for MPEG-4 ALS Decoder plugin for Winamp.
On November 11, 2009, the open source project FFmpeg MPEG-4 decoder won ALC in its development.
History
In July 2002, the Motion Picture Experts Group has issued a call for proposals for lossless coding procedures will be sent before December. Seven companies have submitted their proposals have been discussed taking into account the efficiency of compression, complexity and flexibility. In July 2003, Lossless Predictive Audio Compression (LPAC) has been designated as an official project for the future standard. Model Reference has also been developed in the framework of participation of the Technical University of Berlin (TUB) and Nippon Telegraph RealNetworks and Telephone (NTT).

have you tried putting a cd lens cleaner through your player? also what format of music are you playing? If you are trying to play ripped cds such as wma's or mp3's the player may not be able to play this format.
