Chevrolet Optra Srv
General motors launched the Chevrolet Optra SRV with its Italian designs keeping the youth and the professionals as targets. Equipped with premium sports back its been termed SRV (Sport Recreation Vehicle) with in built five-door hatchback often sharing the same wheelbase, width and overall height looking in context with its competitors. Variable Geometry Induction System (VGIS) especially featured on Chevrolet Aveo 1.6, evenly boosts the fuel economy of Chevrolet Optra SRV. Featured with a soft clutch and a notch gearbox it has a better performing capability.
Looking at the interiors of the Chevrolet Optra SRV it is build with best styling features. Sporty styling and aerodynamic profile are the specialty in the car. From the front the car wears the signature Chevy "bow-tie", headlamps in almond shapes, air dam is very large and also the fog lamps. Hood is evenly long with which gives way to steeply curving windscreen. Power windows, fog lamps, handles made of chrome, printed antennas and spoiler at the rear side are its external features. Cabin of Optra SRV is very roomy, with a four-spoke steering wheel which is non-adjustable type. Split-folding can be done to the rear seats for accommodating more luggages in the car.
Interiors of the car also includes digital clock, a driver seat which is adjustable according to the height, armrest at the rear seats, cup holders present along with, gloove box, holder for sunglass, a footrest at the clutch, and a 6-speaker system. Rear wipers and rear defoggers adds to the convenience of the driver while he is driving.
Safety features of the car includes side airbags, seat-belt for driver with a load limiter capacity. Adding to the luxury steering wheel is leather wrapped consisting four spokes in it all along with the gear knob. Cassette MP3 player of Alpine 2 DIN type with remote, outside rear window mirrors (ORVMs) are electrically operated. iPod cassette adapter is very quiet...any reason why?
The cassette adapter has very low sound quality and is way too quiet for me. Is it a problem with the cassette player...the adapter...or something else?
Also found it strange that the adapter got stuck in my car and I had to yank it out of the tape player.
Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do....should I buy a fm transmitter or something?
I have a 2000 chevy malibu with factory cd/tape player.
yes there is something wrong with the adapter or your tape player if you had to yank it out. and the sound quality of those tape adapters has always sucked thats why the car manufacturers started installing aux inputs on their stock stereo head units. my honest opinion is get a new headunit for $100 (the kenwood deck that is hd ready and sattelite ready) and plug a mini to mini plug from the ipod to the deck and you'll be jammin in no time.
